If you have termites - you have options.
You have options in mode of treatment, level of protection and the skills, experience, training and knowledge of the technicians and inspector.
Termite treating is not an exact science. Many factors can affect the success of a termite treatment plan. Weather conditions, soil conditions, construction techniques, type of infestations, location of the infestations, conditions conducive to termite infestations, and proper ratios of product applied to ensure its efficacy are critical in the success of the treatment. This where our experience, knowledge and on going training is a valuable asset.
We offer the treatment options, the trained and experienced staff and a commitment to you.
Treatment Options for Drywood Termites
Drywood termite treating decisions require information, whether you choose Vikane Fumigation, ThermaPureHeat, Orange Oil or BoraCare foam treatment. Our licensed termite inspector will assist you in making the right choice.
Heat Eradication
The ThermaPureHeat treats the framing in the treatment area, can be used as whole structure or area treatment, provides no residual in some cases, requires relocation or protection of heat sensitive items and capping of fire sprinklers if the structure is so equipped. Learn more about heat eradication.
Foam Treatment
The BoraCare foam treating treats wall voids, attics, detected galleries and bare framing in the treatment areas. It leaves a residual as a preventative for future infestations in the treated areas. Small holes will be drilled and patched in the walls that may require finishing. BoraCare can be used with all other treatments to provide residual preventative protection against future infestations.
Orange Oil treats wall voids, attics, detected galleries and bare framing in the treatment areas. It leaves a limited residual as a preventative for future infestations. It requires no roof release. Small holes will be drilled and patched in the walls that may require finishing.
Treatment Options for Subterranean Termites
Subterranean treating is completed using Termidor SC. The “Perimeter Plus” treatment plan treats detected interior infestations, exterior perimeter and in raised foundations the plumbing entry points and any foundation piers.
Construction and Remodeling Pretreatments
Construction pre-treats are completed using Termidor SC, BoraCare, Prevail, or Dragnet SFR.
With BoraCare pretreatment, a band of framing and the foundation is treated after it is in place. This prevents compromising the treatment barrier. BoraCare can be used to treat all of the bare framing of your home during construction. This will provide a residual treatment against drywood termites and subterranean termites.
The other products are soil treatments. The treatment can be disturbed by other trade contractors on site. Prevail and Dragnet SFR is a repellent and is designed to kill on contact. Termidor SC is non repellent and is designed to allow the transfer of the product back to the colony.
